It was wonderful to be part of the inauguration of the conference on national mathematics day which is celebrated on Ramanujan's birthday.In my address, I stressed heavily on the importance of intuition

Me and my student Susmita's most recent paper published in this top tier first quartile journal for the second time. Being brown and being women this is a tremendous struggle. We are continuously put off and dismissed.But we have decided to keep going.This is our sixth joint paper #womeninmath

November 17 th I rushed from work to NYC to attend this wonderful event at Rizzoli Bookstore.Took a bus back from NYC to DC after the event.It was well worth it.Amitabha Ghosh and Gayatri Chakravarty Spivak discussing Ghosh's latest book .
