TLDR:
Positive reforms totally outweighed by massive cuts to incomes for disabled people & carers.

Will cause serious hardship & risk people forced to turn to food banks.

Cuts to PIP have NOTHING to do with increasing employment. Purely for short-term savings. Likely to damage employment goals.

And certain families will face big income reductions: for example, those who lose entitlement to both PIP (due to tighter eligibility criteria) and UC-health (when the Work Capability Assessment is scrapped and PIP receipt is used instead) could lose out by £9,600 per year in 2029-30.
