It's my very first day of school, I think it might have even been a taster type day when I was tiny. Teacher held up a photo of a kingfisher and asked who knew what it was. I, hand up, said a kingfisher. Teacher said no it's not a fish. It's a bird. I've carried that with me for 44 years.

This was from a couple of years ago when his cuteness was a defence against blind chewing. He's skating on thin ice now that he is the size of a small labrador.
