Posting sixties-inspired and present-day music, art, photography, movies, science, environment, and other groovy stuff - as well as promoting peace and love. It's what you do that matters, not what you are. All welcome - photo is the Paragon, Bath x
In the UK, we mark the failure of Guy Fawkes to blow up Parliament by… setting fire to him every year🧨 Bonfires blaze, effigies burn, and the skies crackle with fireworks.
In Malta, any excuse is firework-night 😁 Here's a snap from my last visit - from Sliema to Valletta

#DianeKeaton RIP That offbeat quirky layered look in Annie Hall - waistcoat over shirt, tie askew, hands in pockets - was pure Keaton. She brought her own clothes to set (or her partners) Annie could express a thousand emotions in one la-di-da. Diane showed us how to be unapologetically ourselves⭐

My first attempt at making soap 🧼 it's Yuletide sage and frankincense soap 🎄 made with dried sage, frankincense essential oil, sweat, blood, and tears -and about to be gifted to my unfortunate relatives. Smells delicious but doesn't lather much - fun but challenging 😁

Battered but Glorious: celebrated another year around the sun with fish and chips from my local chippy yesterday - Crisp batter, golden chips, a splash of vinegar... suddenly, the weight of the world lifted. Wars, racism, the Trump year - all temporarily forgotten in the glory of fried comfort.

Great family-friendly interactive exhibition at Victoria Gallery, Bath. Artworks by Jackie Morris and poems by Robert Macfarlane, from their book The Lost Spells.

I have a Pentax SP1000 - i was amazed to find the light meter still worked with a new battery - but i rather stupidly left some film in it for over 10 years - it degraded and I scratched the film track a little trying to remove it - will probably leave tram lines now 🙁

stumbled across this incredible exhibition of printer's proofs in Victoria Gallery, Bath. Apart from this gem by Richard Hamilton of Mick Jagger, there are also prints by Hodgkin, Grayson Perry, Cornelia Parker, Lucian Freud, Bridget Riley, and Peter Blake
