Yes, I totally agree- I fulfilled a dream , bought a house on a lake and now watch sunrises and sunsets on our dock. Grab those dreams while you can.

I know for a fact it takes years and a ton of money to become a legal citizen here- how did all the white South Africans do this so quickly???? Did they buy the $5000 green card??? All of them???

Reminds me of the Hans Christian fable- The Emperor’s New Clothes. He’s naked but everyone compliments him on his “ new clothes” because it’s what he wants to hear. No one has the courage to tell him the truth.
