I've said it once and I'll say it every time it comes up: I love the idea of AR glasses. Having Skyrim Quest markers in real life would be dead useful.

But as long as AR glasses use cameras, they should never be public. Imagine everyone with their phone up, CONSTANTLY.

Obviously I hope that smarter thinking prevails. I know it looks utterly dire but much stranger and more drastic things have happened to longer lasting empires. Who knows. Doomerism is loserism.

But it's just so sad that the "AI apocalypse" might happen in the dumbest way it could have happened 😩

If it is a bubble, then once it bursts the US will get another Great Depression

TIL that bald eagles are called that because it's a shortening of "Piebald" meaning "black and white". It's the same root as Magpie in the other direction!

Here was I thinking explorers either had terrible eyesight or mixed up the paperwork with a vulture 😆

Can I ask a favor? I fell off Horizon about half way through because Aloy was just being incredibly selfish and needlessly reckless considering her importance, and the story seemed to framing it as heroic.

Without spoilers can you tell me if she gets some sense later and realizes she was wrong?

As I said, the dimorphism is actually explained (In some canons) by the fact that transformers take their forms from a creator species who designed them in their image. So their dimorphism is an aesthetic borne from the vanity of an uncaring God 😆

So, the accepted canon is that Transformers are human shaped and have masc/femme forms because that was the image of their creator...

Then... were humans also made by these aliens, are we the same species, or is it all a massive coincidence?
