Wife to Gordan, mother to Tom and servant to Goldie the collie.
We learnt to sing Kookaburras in "rings" at school in UK. I had no idea what they looked like until relatively recently. 😀

My son is one of the hardest hit, graduating to a professional job in 2017. It really does make you think "why bother?".

Spoke German too, which is apparently an insult.

I didn't, but discovered you here on about the first week I left X and joined. Glad I did.

That was lovely Bobby. Merry Christmas to you and your family from a very cold Windsor!!

I do chase the squirrels, but never get near them as they cheat the shoot up the trees! 🙃

Kangaroos look far more interesting (and scary), but they only live in zoos here.

We live in a town, but it is in the countryside, so really good for walks in fields and woods.

We live in Berkshire in England and squirrels are the most common wildlife we see on our local walks. There are of course lots of cats to bark at. The largest wild animal we ever see are deer, but only for a fleeting moment before they rapidly disappear. Your curious kangaroos are great!

You are so lucky Bobby - we are lucky to see a squirrel or two and they rapidly scarper up the nearest tree! 🤭

Larry, you are going to get fat!

Our Chancellor managed to get a Master's Degree in Economics from the London School of Economics. I scraped a pass in GCSE maths, but even I can see that this is just idiotic. Doesn't say a lot for LSE does it!

Hi Bobby! You must be very gentle with your toys. My Goldie (rescued - I didn't name her!) loves to disembowel any cuddly toys immediately, so is now limited to tennis balls. She also enjoys stalking the binmen, so here is a photo of her last week. 😀

Beautiful calendar - I have just filled mine in with birthdays, appointments, etc., ready for next year.

I've been lucky enough to see a few on the Thames. Best tip I have is if you hear the really high pitched peep they make, don't look towards it, but look directly across the river to the other bank and if you are lucky the bird will flash across your sightline. 🤗

The ones I really hate are for "pee pads", a certain pink stomach mixture and all over body deodrant. Definitely take advantage of the time to empty the dishwasher.

Those carpets lasted for years because the stains didn't stand a chance of showing up!!!

Thank you for bringing Culpeper to my attention. I knew he was a herbalist, but had never read anything about him until your prompt.

Owning dogs is wonderful and lights up your life, but you certainly do get used to apologising to people on a very regular basis!

That's just what I thought!
