Person living in Winnipeg/Treaty 1 territory. Winsome combo of giddy farm girl, smartass former punkette, & intransigent pseudo-intellectual. Love the show, Steve. Hello to Jason Isaacs. New novel coming soonish. Interwebs: suesorensen.net
It's nice of Cineplex to remind me of my excellent taste in film by sending me a year-end roundup of ticket purchases at their particular establishments.

Once again, I am disconcerted to be in complete agreement with a pope. Leo has called on AI companies to "cultivate moral discernment as a fundamental part of their work—to develop systems that reflect justice, solidarity, and a genuine reverence for life” & tells young people: Do your own homework.

The magnificent Diane Keaton in Shoot the Moon (1982). This portrayal of divorce scorched me on first viewing, so I avoided rewatching. Managed it tonight. Only Baumbach's Marriage Story comes close to this beautiful devastation. If It had more viewers, possibly no one would ever marry. But wow.

So. Hey #booksky!
This 📚📚thing is happening in Winnipeg in less than 48 hours. I will be excavating some kind of reading from the manuscript (BUT WHERE IS IT??) of my forthcoming novel, After Buster.

Marked essays today in this cafe and it was worth the drive to Selkirk. Bill Evans on the soundtrack the whole time.

today's visit to Cleocatra Cat Cafe was very calm, quiet & soothing as everyone was probably peopled out / inclined to heavy napping, but eye contact was made, and I fell in love with all of them

saw The Running Man (it's ok) and then looked up the 1982 source material, Stephen King's pseudonymous novel . . . and Holy Smokes, that tagline should smite someone or other on the spot

I've a headful of 60s and 70s TV theme tunes I'd like to give away to someone, no need to return.
George: "He's giant sized! Some surprise! You'll enjoy the time you spend in George's alpine home!"
Flipper: "They call him Flipper! Flipper! Faster than lightning! No one you see is smarter than he!"

when closing a credit card account, make sure there's a very tiny credit so that the bank has to mail you a very miniscule cheque
Fun!
