My next books will be dark urban fantasy and will be out by Spring 2025, or I will throw myself into Humboldt Bay and start slappin' at fish. Just, all of them.
I have changed my header to my friend Ermastus. He's kind of a diva. Just tell him he sings beautifully. Don't tell him he has no lungs or larynx, or he'll have a bone to pick with you.
I'm not proud of that joke, but here we are.

Thanks to whoever went to the trouble of morphing me into a dromedary so I could finally fulfill my potential as "Mar🐫".

My Top 5 Horror Films of 2024 - What about you?
Abigail - Horror comedy
Exhuma - Occult horror
Nosferatu - Really, if you don't know
Oddity - Paranormal
The Substance - Body horror
Though it was last year, I'm including "When Evil Lurks" because I loved it. (Not for the more gentle among us.)

Please enjoy one of my favorite ornaments!
That's right. That's a Swarovski crystal on her ring. Being severed and placed on a tree is no excuse to stop being a lady.

Happy "However-you-spend-today" American Thanksgiving!
I'm posting this on pretty much every social media site I have because I love it, so if you're on one of the others, sorry for the repeat.
In my world, we are all strange, so I guess that makes us normal? Ew.

I'm at the point where I need to finish the current books because I have around three projects in the basket I want to do. Of course, I want you to read these, but I also want to write the others very much. So that's a good incentive to wrap this up. 😆

I know this must be a fascinating saga for those who don't know me, but the leak in the bathroom ceiling is fixed! The guy came fast, fixed it, and didn't charge an emergency fee!
Basically, a unicorn. 🦄
Ok, I'll try to be interesting now. 😄

I'm waiting patiently for the roof guy to plug the leak, hoping the Bomb Cyclone doesn't erupt again before he does. First-time homeowner + leak in bathroom ceiling = call the landlord!
Oh wait, that's us.
What I'm not doing is writing. 😠 Stupid adult stuff.

That moment when you realize you followed a whole lot of friends you can call "Mutants."
Life is good.

The first night of the "Bomb Cyclone" is over on the Northern California coast. Our house didn't flood, lose power, no downed trees nearby, no canvas carports in our yard (I'm not making that up;) very grateful.
The county set up emergency shelters for those who need them. Hoping it peters out soon.

@heidisbs.bsky.social One of us! One of us!

Apparently, we're about to have the "biggest cyclone ever" in NorCal. Wouldn't it be a hoot if, just as I start to figure this out, the power cuts, and I can't post for a day or two?
It's the price I pay for living in the redwoods.
Also quakes. Oh man, I hate quakes.
Avenge me!

Crazy Legs would prefer it if I'm not productive.
Little jerk pushed so many notes to the floor, then bested me with cuteness.
Do successful writers have cats?

This is my first post. Since most of my friends aren't here yet, I feel like I should take advantage of this time to talk smack about them.
They know what they did.
