I have a list. Don’t make me add to it. Love Granny Weatherwax, Vimes, Smiley, and Poirot in that order. Hoping to spend less time blocking fascists over here.

Obviously he can, but trying to avoid the hysteria that was evident after 2016 might be an issue when we’re in so much trouble because of it. I suppose that there’s also the negotiation angle too. CU next year, SM thereafter - quietly. And criminal proceedings hopefully!

The Mail wasn’t founded to be a serious newspaper and it has been a runaway success at that. It has always lied, always. But it’s sold itself as the poor man’s Telegraph when the latter was a serious paper. Hence its popularity; its readers think they’re middle class for reading it.

I meant if he takes mogodon he might go to sleep and stop with the fever dreams. And perhaps tone down the homicidal tendencies.
January 4, 2026 at 10:35 PM
OK then - mogodon?

Schipol - 5 effing kilometres to my gate. One hour transfer to include passport control.

The child sitting behind me didn’t stand a chance.

Correcting written and spoken English would be a start, then developing critical thinking skills would round it off. Things many older people could do with too.

In case of an attack by radishes? Always a risk.

Land of the free.
January 2, 2026 at 8:48 PM
I thought I would, but I don’t.

Sorry, what was the question?
January 2, 2026 at 8:41 PM
Ah yes, the burning-books stage.
