My standard gift for 2-4 y.o. is a set of (kid sized) luggage. Spinner wheels so they can push it themselves, backpack/snack bag, and the parents no longer have to pack kid stuff in theirs.

My dad seems to think they've stopped the parade just so one performer can stop and sing, thus inconveniencing the rest of those walking. Um no, this is pretty precisely coordinated!

If I switched it to football's halftime show, they'd just wonder "who's the guy who needs a haircut" (Jack White).

I would advise zesting/squeezing an orange, and a splash of brandy or red wine is nice. Customize seasoning as you like.

I have a *deep love* for NWSL and would be happy for either team. But who brought the monotonous drummer, because I'm rooting slightly less for them.

Simply the worst!

Penalties are simply the worst.

The squirrels and I are having an absolute turf war! No amount of shoo-ing or arm waving dissuades them. My only recourse was to find planter covers and now they express their displeasure with making a mess everywhere not covered.

However, I highly endorse taking a day to sit on the hotel room sofa, ignore family texts, eat snacks, read books, and look at the ocean.

Someone at the affiliate must have heard me as well...it has been switched back but missed an inning.

I am watching said game while out of town in a hotel and the channel just switched programming to a Big Bang Theory rerun.

The other day I actually walked up to a birding group to find out what they were all looking at.

My friend and I refer to him as "Who's That?".
