Have left Bluesky for bluer skies.
Twice now, I've suffered a pile on attack out of nowhere here on Bluesky - both conversing with Americans in a courteous manner about cultural differences regarding food and eating habits and both steered by female journalists with 100k+ followings...

That's some major food hang up.

You should be peddling The Second Sleep like no one's business - especially if you have a Spanish edition...

There was a moment yesterday, sitting in my house with no power and no comms or cash, when your predictions were nearer the truth than ever before 😱😱😱

So glad I live in Spain today. Everyone in the most part kept calm. Everyone in the most part came together. Everyone in the most part took it in their stride, kept smiling and just kept on going. And the public services did a fantastic job under very difficult circumstances.

Notes from Spain:
Seriously!
Make sure you have cash at home.
Candles, batteries, lamps, matches.
A radio or a radio in your car.
Chargers in your car.
Fuel tanks topped up.
Dry goods.
The mobile phone networks lasted about 2.5 hrs before complete shut down and cut off from outside world.

Would be surprised if Republicans haven't been making plans for militias and marshall law...
Not a single international cargo ship at the Port of Seattle. The port is dead. The last ship from China will dock at a West coast port on the 29th, and the last Chinese ship will dock on the East coast around May 10th. After that, there will be no more shipments arriving from China. We’re screwed.

The realisation that we will soon enough have to stop using the internet and go back to paper books from reputable publishers and watermarked DVDs just to discover some way of discerning what is real and what is not.

Yes, it’s Facebook’s very own Nick Clegg. Congrats to everyone involved in this absolutely stellar signing. Take a bow.
