I’ve gotten to where I automatically tighten up when I approach someone with text on a shirt, here it’s mostly ugly politics/threatening or sports (fine) so I was pleasantly surprised to see something so positive! I think it’s lovely that your students get to see that message 💖

I worked in a popular locally owned Tex-Mex restaurant through college. Guess what? The chicken enchiladas were ALWAYS turkey. Lower food cost, more meat with less effort. No customer EVER clocked the difference with all the sauces, cheese, etc.

but those of us who weren’t local had to extend our hotel stays, in our case, no way my husband & kids could manage a long car ride. Grandma ended up in the ER the next day for fluids. Everyone recovered & SIL has never hosted Thanksgiving again 🦃

to speed the thawing; the night was cool but not fridge cool, plus the garage held onto some of the warmth from the house. Long story short: nearly 30 people with rampant diarrhea & vomiting. I escaped the food poisoning (vegetarian)

My SIL hosted the ENTIRE family one year. She bought a bigass frozen turkey for all of us but missed the instructions on how early it should be moved to the fridge to thaw. So the night before, she & MIL decided to move it to the garage to spend the night

I ordered some Morris pattern samples from a place in Germany, I don’t remember the name but they had a fabulous selection. Ofc this was pre tariff, don’t know how that would work now!

I’m so sorry; my husband has middle ear issues that strike randomly & even when the physical issues straighten out, he stays anxious for a bit (unlike his normal mood) bc he’s so worried that it’s about to happen again. I hope you feel better!

I really like the Coast Guard line bc I’ve always lived hundreds of miles from any coast, so are they going to fly a helicopter in to get all the local pot users?
