I always think about trying the more complex systems compared to 5e and then my table takes an hour to do a single round of 5e combat with 5 combatants 💀

Playing through Hollow Knight for the first* time

*Its the only game I've ever refunded on Steam and years later I'm forcing myself to play to the endgame because every boss fight clip I've seen looks SO sick

I don't think it's about them being "bad" in a vacuum. More so that prior think they're "bad" relative to the expectations set out for them.

I'm sure if any of these games were from newer indie devs they'd be heavily praised, but for these AAA devs, the bar is just higher.
