I found this little rat on the train tracks across from a prison, a mile from home, right after a train had just passed through. He’s safe and happy to be home, and it’s been an eventful new year. I’ll try to take this as a good thing. Happy new year everyone!! 💜

Smokey ran away whilst the fireworks were happening. I’ve searched all over the neighborhood in the cold. :( not a good start to the new year. Smokey, I hope you come home soon and I hope you’re not too cold or scared.
