Yesterday, voters in Prince William County nominated Margaret Franklin, and voters in Fairfax County and Fairfax City nominated Gretchen Bulova, to be the Democratic nominees in the upcoming January 13 special elections for House of Delegates.

Our last stop of the day was in Sterling, where we supported Delegate Atoosa Reaser and our three School Board candidates: Arben Istrefi, April Chandler, and Jon Pepper.

Then we headed to Purcellville, where we joined John McAuliff, who is going to flip HD30 blue this November!

I stopped by the Battlefield High School polling location this morning to thank the volunteer election officials. If you live in Gainesville, please vote at Battlefield or at the Pat White Center at Ben Lomond before 7pm.

There will be a special election for Gainesville Supervisor, and today is the Democratic Firehouse Caucus. Polls are open at two locations from 10am until 7pm today.
