Sunsets, oceans, glass, driftwood and rocks. Plant babies, trying to get out of my own way, book reader/TBR collector. Music, remains hopeful, curious, whimsical, creative (trying), wanting to connect to the flow. She/her. #Halifax
OMG. I didn't know Ty Olsson was from Halifax. That's awesome. I missed him at Hal-Con. Love this story.

@rachelreidwrites.bsky.social is an amazing author whose book was translated SO well into the screen (you book nerds understand). The actors are superb and nuanced and it makes you not only feel, but feel hopeful. Just what we needed when we needed it! Can't say enough good things.

So glad you're out and lived to tell the tale.

He's gorgeous!!

That was fabulous. I booked last September and got one in May. Considering this and the telephone wait and the fact they said only 30% of eligible population takes advantage of mammagrams, I have to ask why are things so bad for an underused system? Or is this another "woman thing"?

My aunt has that issue. She can eat fish but not seafood but it's the shared oil. You have to ask but sometimes they have no clue. Most places aren't focused on allergens but considering how big is gotten, it should be more of a thought!

Great to hear. Those reactions are never fun!

Hope you're feeling better today and it was just temporary!

If I find a new person I don't follow or see a post I like & look at the profile,I go back awhile to see if it's someone that gives the energy I want to follow. I like anything that resonates as I go. Sometimes i end up following, sometimes I don't. Sad to think I was just creeping people out.

Guardian has really good socks in three packs. Viasox is also great and, I think, have a good sale in right now.

Trying to find/make time for the serious work that I need is challenging.

Mission Mart takes extra and distributed then as treats in their shelters and at their kitchen!

That's actually a Thanksgiving cactus. Mine usually bloom Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Or at least they used to. I think my natural energy has changed and they don't like it now.

I don't like the fact that it's detrimental to the human energies but I like late sunsets in summer and early sunrise in winter. The thought of 8pm sunset in July and 8am sunrise in January is kind crossing. I like the early winter sunset though because I have lots of seasonal lights!

Thanks for this. I'm waiting for an appt now but the last one I had was years ago and very loud and challenging. Not feeling so badly now!

I don't look at everything and go in with a plan of who I want to see and what I am looking for. I like being in/out before the crowds. I am of the age where whatever comes in, something has to go. Guess this means the other ones I enjoy will be over crowded.

Will reduce the amount of people at any given moment and the conversations in the middle of the aisles. Vendor conversions will be reduced so that's a con and dithering will be timed! It's gotten out of hand in the last few years with the Increase in population. At least there's an extra day.

Because they had the words running together so it looked more like Savour Fish... which in sure most people who like fish do. Not much help to rally the troops.

I just vacuumed sealed and froze all my cranberries so we'll have homemade cranberry sauce and jam made over the next couple months and for Easter! Love the homemade cranberry sauce
