Last night was hairy, winds up around 90kph, the house shook a little but woke up to a *DOWNGRADE* to tropical storm!
In Redcliffe we joke we have a “dome” protecting us weather wise and look… it went around us!

I have to praise City of Moreton Bay for their excellent organisation and constant supply of sand and sandbags as well as Suncorp who sent a team of volunteers to help those less able to fill and/or lift sandbags into their cars themselves. Community spirit in action 💜 #cyclonealfred
Many people with shovels fill bright yellow sandbags to try and help divert or keep flood water out of their homes as Tropical Cyclone Alfred heads straight for us. A wind map showing my location in Moreton Bay and the cyclone off the coast preparing to make landfall preeeeetty much exactly where we live 😬

Just got a text from my local council to say there’s a tropical cyclone headed straight for us this week so be on alert.

What planet do I blame this on again?! (Just kidding I’m not that basic 💖)

Didn’t think Neptune would be *that* obvious with floods, storms and cyclones though but here we are.
A map to show the predicted path of the cyclone between today Sunday 2 March 2025 and Friday 7 March 2025. The path shows it heading south east out to sea before making a sharp u-turn and making landfall pretty much exactly where I live on the coast. Keeping everything crossed it loses momentum and doesn’t turn back towards land but prepping for my first ever potential tropical cyclone anyway. Tips welcome. No seriously, I’ve lived here almost 15 years and this is the first TC I’ve experienced. When writing March’s horoscopes I talked heaps about Neptune’s influence and Rx Venus and Mercury crossing Neptune at the border/critical 29° of Neptune in Pisces but in my wildest dreams I didn’t imagine a *literal* manifestation of storms and cyclones and flooding 🥲

Had a massive revelation about my Jupiter in Gemini story tonight… right as Jupiter conjoined my MC to the degree. I realised how far I’ve strayed from my signature combo which is fact paired with intuition. I forgot the intuition part and I let Jupiter get carried away with Gemini’s facts. 💔

The upcoming Venus rx has got me thinking about Venus Things™️ and I had this thought in a conversation with a friend (who yes, I met after my 2022 secondary progressed Venus went direct ❤️‍🔥)

I struggled to connect with my mum and was bullied as a kid and teenager. I always felt gangly and awkward never felt like I fit properly, like a bit of a spare puzzle piece. I wanted deep conversations about weird and wonderful things not conversations about crushes and reality TV. I finally feel like I’m coming out of my shell (birth of Aphrodite scallop shell stylee) and I have to say I really enjoy how Bluesky is helping with that.

Raw cookie mix that shows choc chips, buckwheat and almond meal flour, raisins, cinnamon and baking powder… the melted butter and maple syrup are on their way to make the batter. Yes it’s a “healthy” recipe, yes it’s DELICIOUS. Here’s the Easter egg, the full recipe! 75g buckwheat flour 75g almond flour 1/2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp cinnamon Filling (I use raisins or cranberries and choc chips - approx 65g raisins and 50g choc chips) 125g melted butter (30 secs in microwave usually does it) 3 tbsp maple syrup (or golden syrup or sugar, I just personally avoid refined sugar) 1 tsp vanilla essence 1 egg, beaten Heat the oven to 180°c (350F) Mix dry ingredients in own bowl Mix wet ingredients in another Drop onto a baking tray lined with baking paper Bake for 20 mins or until a skewer comes out clean Enjoy! 🍪

One of my fave ‘hidden’ details is how some cards look like stage sets (Colman-Smith was also a set designer for theatre) with this double line at the bottom where a backdrop would meet the stage, unlike most of the other cards where the character is clearly standing ‘outside’ on the scenery…

EEEK! I have to share a HUGE breakthrough with lucid dreaming I had last night!! I’ve been trying for years to get an ‘anchor’ in my dreams that tells me if I’m dreaming or not. A friend recommended counting my fingers on my hand and if something was off, that’s the clue I’m dreaming… 1/5 #dreamsky

My dreams have been *whack*. So many dreams where I’m almost lucid and know something’s off but can’t quite get lucid. Then in real life being like hang on, this is super weird, I know it’s real life but this is total dream content right now. At the start of the month I wrote this in my journal:
