I mean Picarto also requires id to make money and to my knowledge it's never been hacked either. Fearing that somewhere 'might' be hacked is kinda a flimsy excuse not to try. Cuz everything online, including your phone 'might' be hacked

Whilst this concern is valid, the reason they do this is to ensure they remain an adult only space and that only adults apply to stream.

Also they're still a relatively young site but the fact they're still going strong at four years so far is promising

As someone who is fed up with Twitch I think I might give Joystick a try when I eventually get a pc.

Yes it means starting over again, but it's an adult only space and has more freedom. Plus every streamer there earns 80% revenue and gets to set their own subscription price

I'm gonna say something wildly unpopular. As someone who rarely ever goes into double digits when streaming it annoys me every time someone complains about single digit streams. It sounds like they are ungrateful and completely disingenuous
