Every single one of my ancestors fled Catholic oppression: Huguenots, Lutherans, Quakers, and later Baptists and Methodists. They also fought against threats from Spanish Catholic Florida, which had missions along the Southern coasts. It looks as if religious wars may again be on the horizon.

I was at the first and third DC Women’s March with two other 70+ women. We cannot stand again in one place for 6 hours! The third March was in the snow. It is time for younger people to take up the torch. We also marched in the 60’s and 70’s.
