Not to say that it’s bad to want to move out, I was very happy to move out of my family’s house when I had the chance five years ago. But I was also trying for that ideal because I moved in with a boyfriend. Now me and him are no longer dating, buuut we can’t afford to move out again 🤷

Yeah, and that western ideal was also a part of the nuclear family propaganda push about how everyone should be two parents and two kids in a single home with a white picket fence, which was also created when the economy there was good enough that one person could AFFORD to buy a house on their own

And honestly even if we were paying for it (which I think a decent amount of us would, if you made a Patreon(I would)) I think it would be better to cultivate an audience that understands the value of breaks and following your passion instead of demanding a constant influx of new smut.

That’s totally okay! The only time it’s important to keep up with constant creating in the same area is if you’re trying to make a career out of it (which can overlap with passion projects but isnt the same thing). None of us are paying you for your incredible art, you have no obligation to keep up!
