A person I was talking to the other day introduced a term I hadn't used that is the opposite of a "trigger" which causes anything from stress to becoming overreactive to the point of becoming dysregulated. The term was "glimmer" and your post, to me, is a perfect example!

We give him too much credit when we say he makes a "mistake" and says something that is untrue! I don't think he hates fact checking because he makes mistakes, he hates it because he intentionally says whatever suits his purpose that he's very aware that he made it up.

Just add (sic) after it! ... er not "sick" then you WOULD have ruined it!
