Love all these posts; these feathery friends sure need our increased help to flourish 💚

Humble suggestion: with each of them introduced, maybe add a few notes if they like sunflower hearts, mealworms or suets - perhaps more people will try to look out for them. Without loose cats in their gardens

That's a bald eagle, gorgeous!

I believe you but anything I hear fr friends or see/read in news about the Nordic approach is cementing my view that yours is the shining example; the better approach.

That little girl: which one the 10yo or the 2yo :(
UK has some *very* serious problems when it comes to this gruesome topic :'''(

Yeah. Wonder what went wrong during all these (Tory) years :/

Thank you so much RSPB Scotland for the frequent uplifting news about conservation and rewilding efforts. A rare and precious break from the otherwise ugly daily news reports💚

In an ideal world, most of the world would be like the Scandinavian countries. The model is far from perfect, but they have a fairly decent economy combined with a caring social democracy. I don't live there but it appears children and child care are of paramount importance.

Sadly, there are too many non-homeschooled kids in the daily UK news whose short little lives are full of abuse, neglect & prison-camp like injuries discovered post mortem. Homeschooling isn't the problem; sick, sadistic parents & a broken social services is. Broken councils & justice system.

Seeing the article title, I was just pondering how odd: on contrast, in the US there's an ever growing number of kids in homeschooling - because their religious parents want to educate them about role of church, faith, family, etc.
As if there aren't enough anti vaxxer flat-earthers out there?!

In fairness, the US had zero historical first-hand experience with this horrendous historical period.
It might be a harsh way for the nation to learn and then decide which way they wish to proceed.

Will probably get a quiet presidential pardon or some other type of clemency:/

As a non Man United fan, I can truthfully say that, to me Rashford was the ONLY positive mentionable about that club.

Wish him the very best outcome of this sabre rattling; that lad has spine, courage and a heart- in the right place!

Same type of recipe worked like charm in the UK, leading to Brexit.
Even bendy bananas(!) were blamed on Brussels(??); too many fell for demagogues and voted out. Problems since even worse.

Brexit became a taboo word and no clear path out from self inflicted economic disaster.

The cruelty and brutality this tiny little human had to encounter during her short life💔

Does any amount of incarceration deliver true justice?

Speaking on my own behalf: trying to ignore and plainly block out - rather than hate.

Being angry is incredibly toxic and stressful- physically+mentally. Not everyone's cup of tea feeling like that or even thriving on being a raging person.

Wish these type remained on their relevant cesspit platform of hatred.
Would serve everyone's best interest.

Old world politics and old world military actions no longer achieve anything but more conflicts. Above suggested action would 100% kick off WW3 - also remember, Russia has a lot of powerful allies.
We need to diffuse not escalate. Can't imagine what the world would be after a global all-out war.

It's hard to tell whether they are broke or it's the image they want to feed the world. They (=not the population) have money.
Throughout history, many military leaders underestimated Russia (and it's historical predecessors).
The world should exercise caution before fully dismissing their threat.
