This is funny, but I suspect most businesses adopting AI are sleepwalking themselves into big problems. Boards are drunk on the potential of laying off everyone who talks to customers without assessing how much value could be destroyed once customers realize how little their experience matters.

The real challenge here is building products on the internet that encourage people to become smarter and more interconnected. If we want to see something different we need to build something different that the majority of people will want to use.
The internet had the potential to make humans so much smarter and interconnected. Instead, it's dumbing us down and siloing us off. A real tragedy.

Thinking of @mcuban.bsky.social 's podcast with Jon Stewart - seems a bit rich for them to pin blame on hospitals as "participants who benefit" when UH is making record profits. Weird how higher prices just seem to benefit both. How is it that pharmacy cos set prices when PBMs mark up chemo 1000%?
