Oh yeah, I was able to squeak by with Auto-Potion Samurai, but then Belias and his goon squad rolled right through me. I was out of patience after a few rounds of that nonsense ha ha.

So the strat is to actually go Squire for access to Mettle and the Chameleon Robe (nerfs Holy damage) with Move +2. You ignore Wiegraf entirely and kite him while spamming Tailwind to max out your speed then Focus for max attack. With maxed stats, you can easily one-shot him then Belias after. 😂

Unironically wishing I'd gotten Pokémon instead, this is way too much stress at a time my life is already 24/7 anticipatory doom.

Time will tell if this gets picked up (and not gutted) whether they can find a pace that feels appropriate without becoming a slog. It'd be interesting to see what they could do with a season covering acts 1-4, another for act 5 split between Hivebent and the Cascade leadup, and so on. Act 6...???

The Sonic R OST goes far harder than it has any reasonable right to. Back in Time was my jam for a good minute.

As a long-time player, that's the only way to truly enjoy that game imo. Spoil the faves, save for their alts, and expect to get stomped by this week's powercreep. 😂
