A little 19th century tomb in Green-Wood Cometary, Brooklyn, made for a child who died aged 15 mos. There is a very worn lamb on the oval pedestal; the carved chair has a tasseled cape draped over it and a baby’s shoe on top. The world before vaccines. @hcrichardson.bsky.social @jbf1755.bsky.social
