I wish we were still close. I love that human a lot. I could have been one of those people, one of those “best friends” that were there to celebrate her. i could have been like, in the top two of those friendships, i had the chance! I had that chance and it’s gone!!!!

there are so many lost friendships that came from this move. I always think of the people who dumped me - and i forget that there’s also people who i just drifted away from or stopped being included in stuff for due to the circumstances… Jesus Christ. I’m heartbroken

like all these people who love her were a part of the lead up to this happening and i love her so much and HAPPILY would have participated from afar if I knew but i was of course not contacted and it’s just like fuck. Oh. Oh yeah. why would anyone contact me hahahahaha fuck

my absolutely precious friend, who i catch up with only maybe once a year now that im here, just had a crazy wonderful big event happen in her life and so many people were there and i like didn’t know ANYTHING about it and i now have to face that like… yeah, im not really a part of her life anymore?

these numbers are actually blowing my mind omg like literally california has a higher population by over 10 million than all of australia so it makes sense but... DAMN

to put this into perspective, i just found out that all of australia has around 40 universities total, + 150 "non-university higher education institutes" (which, i guess maybe that's what they call community college here?) - meanwhile california ALONE has about 640 colleges and unis combined bahahah

i mean i'm sure there's more but like in chula vista there were several community colleges that you could just pop into if you wanted, i mean i just keep wanting to join a college's performing arts programs like choir and art but there just aren't things like that ~around~ like back home?

im aware that im a shit responder too but I’ll interact w the people who mean something to me, at least until my attention span wanders- then when I come back to, I’ll chat with them again like I’ll never just ignore someone forever if they think of me & message. but some people do just do that lol
