You still don't get it. California's power grid isn't unreliable. What is unreliable is the extreme weather we are getting due to climate change. That is why the power companies have to shut down power to certain areas. To protect them.

That's one year. And it's only due to deliberate outages to prevent wildfires due to the wind. On the other hand, Texas has an unreliable grid, especially in 2021 when dozens died due to power outages. There's a difference.

many areas, and electricity powers the system that keeps the water pressurized. It’s an issue of lack of pressure, not lack of water. And aircraft that can scoop up water, even from the ocean, can’t fly in heavy winds.
