I've been so loyal to Samsung, but not happy at all w/ Verizon. Thankfully I found TEXTRA & it's a twinkie for Messages+ AND I'm getting alerts again!!!!! My daughter switches between iPhone & Samsung, but has iPhone now. I may have to step outside my comfort zone & eventually switch though
