And there it is. Senator Cory Booker makes history-- the longest standing filibuster in US history at 24 hours 19 minutes and counting.

Good trouble.

Cory Booker has been holding the Senate floor for *15 hours* to call out Trump’s harm to Americans.

Hello? Is no one concerned?
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is being gutted by tech billionaire Elon Musk’s cost-cutting operation in a shocking operation that launched over the weekend.

In college, someone at a career fair asked me if I had an “American” name b/c my name was too “ethnic” & too hard to pronounce & might cause my resume to be tossed. In the yrs after, I loved seeing ppl use their given/preferred names & being proud of their histories. I guess it doesn’t matter now.
Trump just revoked the Equal Employment Opportunity executive order of 1965, rolling back 60 years of progress on civil rights.

The order had prohibited employment discrimination in federal hiring based on race, religion, and gender.
Trump rolls back bedrock 1960s-era civil rights measure
The move abolishes decades of government practices on diversity and equal opportunity.

We are heartbroken to lose the indomitable force that is our former president, Cecile Richards. In her 12 devoted years of service to our org, she brought us to new heights in our health care, education, and advocacy work.

She was the embodiment of “Care, no matter what.”

Thanking someone who started the problem in the first place for fixing the problem they caused, feels like thanking an arsonist for putting out a fire they started.

Something fitting about all of this being relegated to being indoors. It feels so claustrophobic and also like a funeral
