I’m playing a game just like that at the moment; Roadwarden. It’s more of an interactive, choose-your-own-adventure book. Great story, quests that really affect the world around you, and a great cast of characters. Only “action” in the game comes in text combat choices based on your class.

Life is Strange 1 & 2, Clock Tower 3 (Literally by helping every single tormented soul in that game find peace; specially the little girl and mom & son spirits), and Wolfenstein: The New Order. Max Hauss and Klaus Kreutz, and something terrible that happens in the game.

Glad to see I’m not the only one! That series deserves a lot more love than what it gets.

It’s the Rune Factory Series for me. Farming, beautiful pastel/warm engaging worlds, memorable characters, action, and lots of characters to choose from.

Balatro, The Division, and some Warhammer: Darktide.

Here I am re-heating dinner at almost 2 a.m. because I started playing at around 6 p.m., lost track of time, and now I’m finally hungry.

All the Rune Factory games (3’s my personal favorite), Luma Island (PC), My time at Portia, and My time at Sandrock are also great. I’d recommend Mirthwood too, but check the gameplay first. It’s a more “serious”, survival farming/crafting game.

I’d love to see a new Golden Axe or Sunset Riders get a remake with the art style and gameplay of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. We need more fun 2-D side scrollers.

Lunar: The Silver Star, Lunar: Eternal Blue, Suikoden, Lufia and the Fortress of Doom, Illusion of Gaia, Secret of Mana, Earthbound, Legacy of Kain:Soul Reaver, Shadowrun on the Sega Genesis, to name a few.

Wolfenstein. Love the lore, the art, the grittiness, and shooting nazis.
