How did you arrive at that? Tariffs are an example of government intervening in the business market. Also an indirect tax on us since government keeps the tariff money and citizens often end up paying more for what we buy.

Agree. Probably they feel threatened by progressives. Guessing being in control of a losing party is more in their self-interest than going all in on ensuring we the people basic needs are met.

Yea, likely. They will need mucho support from us. Need an alternative party but hard to create in the short run. The election system appears rigged to maintain two party system.
