Back from my trip to see my family this month. I'm glad we visited, it was full of ups and downs and I learned a lot during my visit. Going on a trip to see my family in Viet Nam next week. I'm both super excited and a bit nervous. I've been worried my family wouldn't understand my experience being Vietnamese American, because it is different than being born there. But I've also realized that's not an issue, I'm loved anyways.
