Things I've started this New Year - a genealogy blog. Not sure where I'm going with this quite yet. I've only made an intro post. I've also started learning Korean. Not easy. How hard can vowels & consonants be? Sigh. Learning to embrace my hobbies and things that make me happy. 😀🍀💜

Been a long ten days. Covid hit the household last weekend & I was a nurse with 3 patients. On Thursday, I finally fell sick, and it has been awful. What a terrible bug. Here's hoping things improve this week. 🍀

Scrolling through my bluesky feed and seeing the genealogy posts is amazing. I didn't see that on Xtwitter. I've been researching for 30 ish years. Canadian born to British parents always made me curious about my roots and the family I didn't get to grow up with.

Woke up, got a coffee, listened to Happy on Spotify. Then watched music video for Running Wild. Teared up watching Jin with the dog. I loved it. It made me happy. The day can now proceed. I can't stream much at work, but I can when I get home! 🎶💜
