When I say we, kind of, already have giant (piloted) mecha, this is what I mean. They are not humanoid battle robots/machines, but we do have very large machines and the knowledge and stress points of the engineering behind it.
We don't have the same for something resembling FTL.

Maybe they want to differentiate between these two poses, but the one you would think needing an added descriptor is the one where the hands are on th shoulders.
Also, if they do use 'crossed her arms under her breasts' they should be consistent and describe men crossing their arms beneath the pecs.

Dryads of the seasons
Four commissions drawn by the amazing @lunareth.bsky.social
Art divided into four panels, each depicting a dryad in nature during a corresponding season. Spring is a teenaged girl dancing in a field of new grass, a few patches of snow still lingering. There are spring flowers and birch trees just beginning to grow leaves as well as lambs and sheep frolicking in the background, happy to be out after the winter. Summer is an athletic woman with long hair made of leaves. She is standing watching alertly over a meadow, summer flowers at her feet and a verdant green forest in the background. Autumn is a curvy, motherly woman with mushrooms in her hair and carrying a cornucopia of fruits and berries. There are ripe pumpkins and grains around her, ripe apples in the trees above her. Autumn 2024

Autumn 2024
A sunlit corral beside a gravel road. The leaves have started to shift from green to yellow and orange on some of the trees signalling the onset of autumn. The taller grasses have started to dry, giving a golden tone to the scene along with the leaves and sunlight, along with the green and the clear blue sky. A fallow field with some green grass and a lot of light brown, dead grass. In the distance are a few bare, leafless trees and at the horizon shofting over into a grey haze is more trees, a mix of leaf trees and pine trees with dark green needles. In the foreground is a moss-covered hollow treestump, many brown-black fallen leaves as well as some bare branches and twigs coming from a tree outside the camera's view on the right.
