Ukraine is sending aid to Syria in order to help prevent a food crisis. Zelensky called on global partners to assist in ensuring a stable peace in Syria. Kyiv launched the Grain From Ukraine initiative in fall 2022 - since then, the program has saved 20 million people from hunger.

This is interesting, as a Norwegian, I believe strongly that the Norwegian news outlets report what I need to know from the rest of the world. Sadly, that is not the case. Bluesky is now my primary source of international news. Breaking news from Syria, Romania, and of course Ukraine.
