Why is social media posting in English-speaking countries a threaded culture? I checked Japanese and Korean, but they do not have a threaded culture, and the posts functioned like a chat among themselves by not using replies.

This spec change detracts from the primitive goodness of Bluesky. If you do implement it, please allow users to choose whether or not to use it. However, it is best not to adopt it in the first place. Chronological display is the conscience of Bluesky.
