The Super Cryogenic Dark Matter Search (SuperCDMS) experiment is installed and operated 2km underground at the SNOLAB facility in Sudbury Ontario in Canada, to detect dark matter particles through weak-scale interactions with cryogenic cooled detectors.
The "towers" of SuperCDMS detectors, safe and happy inside the copper "cans" that protect and shield them.
