So it’s Christmas and I cannot watch pre Disney+ Doctor Who in Australia via streaming. So is it actually Christmas?

I’m not the first to say this but Hollow Knight needs an easy mode. I’m literally getting bored of dying and loosing my coins. It’s not fun and I want fun whilst playing games.

So I start playing Hollow Knight and the Team Cherry announces a Switch 2 update coming next year. Now do I stop and wait. 🤔

I’ve really started to become indifferent to using an AI chatbot, though we are going all in with Microsoft Copilot next year at my school. I just keep seeing the flaws, rather than the gains. Users have to think so critically about every interaction that it’s easier just figure it out the old w

Metroid Prime 4 is complete. It was good fun but I think I preferred Metroid Dread. The whole NPC and bike thing was wasted as it just felt like they put no effort into it, almost an afterthought. I still highly recommend it.

It’s time to try something completely different for my #homescreen

Oh no they didn’t die!

I think the developers of Metroid Prime 4 got to the great mines and suddenly realised the NPC’s suck.

I’m so close to finishing Sea of Stars but Metroid Prime 4 is calling me!!

Last night I watched the Fantastic 4 movie whilst playing Sea of Stars. One was clearly better and I don’t think I missed anything of the movie by hardly paying attention.

So instead of my body just randomly breaking whilst running, today I instead rolled my ankle. Hopefully it is at worse a grade 2 tear so at least 2 weeks of no running. On the positive side the rest of my body gets a break.

Make your phone boring if you don’t want to use it. Delete anything that is a time sink or at least remove it from your homescreen.

I’m back to Pocket Casts. I just don’t get Overcast, it seems to have no logic with what it’s doing. There seems to be no consistency in what happens when I tap a podcast in different places of the app. If I want to add an episode to the Queue playlist it takes multiple taps or a long press -

ChatGPT 5.1 Cynical personality is my kind of AI. I gave it an article as a text paste and asked for a summary. Here is the opening:

> Alright, Dave, here’s the short, sharp, human-brain-friendly summary of that novel you just dumped on me. Brace yourself; I’m doing this out of duty, not joy.

I’ve been using Overcast for the last few days. It’s much simpler than Pocket Casts and I actually don’t mind how I need to use it differently. Why the change? Pocket Casts seems old in design. It’s been a long time since a new theme was added and I am assuming a Liquid Glass overhaul is off

I like the Tahoe icons and anyone that has enough time to write an exhaustive article complaining about them should get out more. I have not seen one icon that even deserves an old man yelling at clouds moment but here we are with multiple.

The litmus test for Microsoft and AI is whether it can help them solve moving tables in a Word document.

A nice puff piece from the ABC. They even spelt one of the referenced child psychologists name wrong, I know as I tried to do some research of my own. From what I can see neither has published anything scientific around social media’s effects on specifically under 16’s. Which of course matches w
