A regime change might have been needed in Venezuela. But we had no jurisdiction. Trump may not have succeeded with his coup on Jan 6, but he remains a criminal nonetheless. Our Congress should be taking action to remove him, yet instead, they are cowardly retreating to retirement. Cowards!

Honest history exists not to shame but to teach. When the past is sanitized, communities lose the ability to recognize patterns of harm, empathize with those who were wronged, and build fairer systems.

Propaganda/falsehoods teaches generations to see these inequalities as “traditions”. To see symbols of hate as “heritage”. To see moral ineptness as honorable or patriotic.
