Recommend the work of Mariana Enriquez, her short story collections in particular have some horror gems. She does have a novel too though I wasn’t as hot on that.

Had a similar thing. Mine was Silksong which it claims I had spent 130 hours in, I found out that at least the Xbox app on PC would think it was running when I turned on my PC for the first week or so.
