We bought a Bosch during COVID and I love it
I normally wouldn’t have bought something that expensive, but in the end it worked out

Luscious, beautiful visual language, with a complete dearth of characters, character depth, and forward motion.
I love Vince's work, and this is a good example of the visual beauty he achieves, but I'm just beaten down by the complete lack of progress.

I've lost faith that this show is has an interesting destination at all.
The cinematography is luscious, great care is taken in every shot but the amount of story told after 7 episodes could be told in 3-4 if they had any sense of where the story was going and had any need to actually get there.

AND there are no other 'main' characters in the show.
There is no balance to Carol - nothing engaging.
I love the premise, I love the acting, direction and most of the writing but it's become a chore to watch.
The show has embraced the prestige TV gimick of excruciatingly slow pace.
