I will mention that I would like an option for non-route selections for online random matches, if only to make those people who want them happy. I don't mind them, myself.

Happy 14th anniversary to Mario Kart 7's Japanese launch! This entry might not seem as worthwhile nowadays, as Mario Kart 8 possesses a lot of features from 7, and does more with them--but with a fun collection of tracks and tight racing action, I still very much enjoy this iteration of the series.
