I live in the country on Prince Edward Island, Canada with the love of my life. I love gardening & art try my best to live sustainably. I find beauty in all seasons. My concern for my country is the rise of disinformation and polarization. Green supporter
US has a tremendous amount of debt and a lot of foreign countries own US Bonds including Canada some countries have already started dumping US Bonds if countries continue they are screwed. That is why they want Alberta this will be a disaster for Albertans. Beware of the the stranger bearing gifts

Interesting I wonder if an investor is going to be found for a pipeline to Northern BC as long as the threat of separatism is still a thing in Alberta. Maybe an American one but I think our laws should not allow foreign investment in key infrastructure.

Sure global warning is breaking down the jet stream making it unstable this allows Arctic air to move further south that would normally be kept north by the jet stream

The US is trying to upend the rules based world order and thinks the rest of the world would obviously revolve around them. The US is becoming irrelevant as it descends into chaos. The world is moving away from a country that has no respect for human rights & international norms recovery impossible.

perhaps it is time to make voting mandatory like in some countries this would solve the problem of participation and also the problem of voter registration being so difficult that people can't manage it or don't bother

I believe that if we use our purchasing power to choice green, ethical products and refuse to support products and services that enrich dictators that we well take away their power perhaps not quickly but money talks look at what is happening to the travel industry and alcohol industries in the US
