loved playing as DK when i first played Mario Kart Wii as a kid but didn’t become familiar with DK’s own series till i tried a demo of Country Returns 3D (even longer ahead finally playing DKC1 on a SNES Classic)

Considering Nintendo fans have practically missed out on the whole series till now, i welcome it (even though i already own the series on Xbox)

especially Like a dragon and Infinite wealth, as the Switch 2’s portability makes it perfect for RPG’s

with how Shadow Gens got received, i think there’s a way for there to be a perfect middle ground

just give us more substance and freedom of movement in the open zone (with more diverse locations) and give us more beefy action based Stages that adds on to the gameplay loop of the Open Zone

meanwhile i’m waiting for Sonic Colors lmao (i’ve gotten all achievements for Ultimate’s 4 major platforms. i just need to wait for RA to release Wii’s set and i’ll tackle that immediately)

absolutely underrated game for the Wii, don’t let the Rabbid’s being the protagonists fool you. Rabbids Go Home is an absolute joy from start to finish

i believe those issues were fixed in more recent builds of Dolphin

the one i can remember on the top of my head is his rant about Time Travel in his 06 review

Colors is a good starting point but i would advise grabbing Ultimate on Console
