Platinum #98, Balatro. After 7 months and 257 hours, this is one of my proudest trophies. I never imagined this game would consume me the way it did… to the point I would even attempt this. It’s a testament to what an incredibly designed game it is and why I should never step foot in a casino.

Platinum# 97, Rise of the Ronin. I want to say greatest 7/10 I have played but I legitimately think this game, despite some jank, is absolutely fantastic and I could write an entire thread by itself and why.

Platinum# 96, Lego Voyagers. Extremely cute and wholesome. Had a lot of laughs playing this with Tia. Probably a bit too glitchy for its own good, but that didn’t detract from the emotion.

Platinum #95 Death Stranding 2. DS1 turned up to 11. MGS5 levels of experimentation at your disposal and I found the story more emotive compared to DS1 which is an impressive. Playing this in 60FPS justified my entire PS5 Pro purchase alone. Not sure I’d recommend the plat though, I got burnt out.

Platinum #94 Unicorn Overlord. Yet another Vanillaware banger. Whilst it’s not my favourite Vanillaware game, you can see the love and attention in every aspect of the game. Loved the characters, artwork, music and the me mechanics were satisfying to experiment with.

Platinum #93 LAD: Infinite Wealth. Took a while to warm to the new direction, and I still have some problems with the story but I’ve come to respect it as an ambitious entry in the franchise that delivers some exceptionally strong moments, nails the brief, and as a JRPG it’s greatly improved over Y7

Platinum #92, Atelier Ryza 3. Arguably a bit indulgent and overly sentimental, but I loved my time with Ryza 3 as it further refined/expanded on the Ryza formula and it’s easily the most dense and ambitious Atelier game up to this point. Absolutely one of my favourite trilogies in gaming.

The Paddington trilogy might be my favourite ever film trilogy. It retains everything that made the first two so heartwarming whilst keeping it fresh with a vivid new setting and a fun cast of old and new characters. Hard to articulate just how much joy and heartfelt sincerity these movies contain.

Just like everything from Aardman, the new Wallace and Gromit film is clever, creative, charming and exquisitely made. Unexpectedly, I highly recommend it. Also despite being a Netflix production I’m extremely grateful I got to watch this in a cinema!

I greatly enjoyed the royal specific content and there was a decent amount, especially compared to Golden. For all its flaws, P5 is still one of my favourite games even after all these years and I think the new content reminded me of that especially. Looking forward to checking out Metaphor next!!
