"Mindworm", a Spider-Man villain created by writer Gerry Conway & artist Ross Andru, in Amazing Spider-Man #138, 1974.

A one and done character that stuck with me. I believe he deserves a revisit.

There's a cool museum of his stuff in Santa Fe, NM. Lotta original sketches, cells from cartoons, paintings. Cool place. Among the other things to check out in Santa Fe, it's worth a look at.

Cicalfate. My dermatologist acts like it could heal an amputated arm. It's her answer to everything. Maybe it'll work.

Serial with Martin Mull. Has some truths that I relate to.

When Mel Blanc died there was a wall display that would play sound bites of all his different characters. Friend of mine gotit for me. Been in the closet for several years now. You've reminded me of that store now. May get it out.

Not really my go-to meal, but it was pretty prevalent where I grew up.

I stopped reading the DeCamp stuff after a while. Howard is it for me. It's odd. I grew up 40 miles from where he lived, and died. Wish he'd done more.

Maybe the most niche thing I've ever posted - as a musician, I knew who Pete Barbutti was. A favorite guest of mine from the Carson Tonight Show days.

When I saw this guy in Return of The Jedi we referred to him as General Pete Barbutti. I know no one gets that joke but me.

My introduction to Len Wein (bit of a fun subversive) was through Marvel Team-Up 16 (a huge fave). It introduced me to Mar-vell, Gil Kane's art, & I didn't know until years later what Len Wein had snuck in past the comics code authority censors. *Note the conversation Peter's having with himself.

There was an episode of Alias Smith & Jones in the early 70's where he played a free man after emancipation who became a bounty hunter, working for himself, answering to no one. He captures the boys.

It's pretty daring even for today's standards, & has some very real things to say. I recommend.

Here's another one I use a lot...

I either say it to a friend of mine who gets the reference or I say it to myself in various situations.

"Spock, if you can't handle it, I'm gonna have to trust him."

Yvonne Craig's birthday yesterday, May 16. Met her at convention in NY, 2000, she and her sister. Very nice.

Was always exciting when she was on the show.
