Heya Martin, we're aware and currently looking into this. For now, the most reliable workaround is to force close the client, wait a few minutes and then log back in.

Legion Remix lag and unplayable
I tried play. But Quest giver loading slow. I waited 5min and nothing. Edit. Same “character with that name already exists” after I exit game and try back log.

What tabard are you referring to? There are some ways in-game to reacquire a number of different tabards that you may have lost over time. Check out this guide: www.wowhead.com/guide/vanity... ^KAL
