King Features told me today that Rosebuds is currently in 44 newspapers.

For a comic that's been in syndication for a little over a year that's a big deal.

Sorry, Jon, I'm going to argue that Luca's the biggest Peanuts fan. Taking multiple years to single-handedly draw a 400+ page well documented biography in the same format as a daily Peanuts strip (6 dailies and a colored Sunday) is no small feat.

One of the big ways to help expedite that is to reach out to your newspaper editors and tell them to add Rosebuds to their papers!

My big goal is to be in 100 newspapers. That's like a standard, moderately successful newspaper comic. So I'm happy to see we're almost halfway there already!

Newspaper cartooning is the hardest art career paths to get into. Much harder than getting into animation. I worked 10+ years honing my comics before I got my opportunity.

Many people wouldn’t put that same effort into it, especially when most consider the funnies a dead medium.
