The drawing looks like he’s a Sikh (like me :>), he might have been prepping to make it for Langar (free community kitchen available to everyone) at the Gurudwra (Sikh Temple)

I’m just super weary of relying on Private-Public Partnerships. Canada has a good opportunity here to build up a nationally owned operator which maybe eventually can export its own expertise to other countries/jurisdictions.

Im a little less hopeful after reading the PM’s readout:
“Cadence has been carefully selected to not only co-design and build, but also to finance, operate, and maintain this project.”
“operate and maintain the project” feels, not good.

Also I’m curious what happens to VIA once this is built? Do they just get sidelined? If so, that’s unfortunate.
